In the microsoft help topics there are numerous places with 'tips' in them
that you can click on to expand a section with more information.  It would be
helpful to be able to do that in a word document itself.  It would be similar
to the group/ungroup commands in Excel.

I have an extra line in a word document. It is not part of the regular
content. I tried removing and replacing footnote, endnote etc.
Have been unable to delete the extra line. Can someone please help me. Thanks!

I was copying and pasting info from a web page into a document and suddenly I
find I have a little dot between every word and paragraph symbols or arrows
everywhere on ALL my documents! How do I get rid of these?

I'm using Microsoft Word 2003 and I have a few questions regarding
table formatting, layout, etc.
FYI, the styles I have set up include:
o Table Caption - paragraph style for the caption preceding the table

I've searched the help, mvp's faqs, and such ... but haven't yet found a
solution to this particular problem. My footnotes do not align with the
bottom of the margin. There's a large gap created between the bottom of
the footnote text, and the lower margin of the page.

I have a 1 page doc. with 2 colums at the top and the usual 1 column format
at the bottom. When I print out the document "column break" and "section
break" prints out even though it doesn't appear in page preview. How do I
stop this from printing out? Thank you very much.

I am typing courts and need to keep the questions and answers together.  I do
not want a question on one page and the answer on the next.  How can I set

I frequently insert, or append, Word files to other Word
files.  The Word files that I am appending are carefully
formatted.  However, when I do an "Insert File", most of
the formatting goes out the window in favor of formatting

I am really stuck.  I am running a mail merge for doing receipts.  My Recipt
is 8.5" x 7".  I woud like to print the receipt onto perforated paper, split
into 2 3.5" sections.  How can I do this and print them?  Do I have to buy
8.5" x 7" paper, or can I use legal size and print ...

I am unable to change the right margin in page setup or by using the ruler.  
The ruler stops at  7.5"

The text in my 8163 shipping label - using Word - aligns all the way to the
