Using Word XP. I'm having a hard time getting the text to align properly with
line numbers on a legal pleading. The way line numbering works, the line
spacing of the text needs to be set to exactly 12pt or exactly 24pt (for a

Suddenly "new blank document" has 0" top margin  and I can't change it.
Deleted normal.dot and samr thing. Go into page layout and make 1" the
default but next time I open a doc, there's still no top margin. Help!

Can anyone give me some basics on how to create a flyer?  I want to post a
picture of my apartment building in grocery stores and coops, along with my
telephone number in perforated tabs along the border.  I have the pictures on
a kodak CD.  What's next?

Even header postion.  I figured out how to separate the headers on even and
odd pages. So, I can add text and have the header dynamically change based

I used to have a Canadian version of Word on my laptop and just loaded the US
2002 version today, but it's still showing page set up in centimeters, not
inches.  Excel is doing the same, but Access & Powerpoint are in inches.  I
need Word and Excel to display in inches NOT ...

How do I set my page up for A3 size without an A3 printer? page setup does
not work

When I try to drag or paste text next to a number in a list, it always
appears above it.  If I try and put it below the number and delete what is to
the right of the number to bring the text up, it simply deletes the number.
