In Word 2003, checked "measurement in inches" in tools/options/general -
rulers still in "points". I recently installed Office 2003 Professional.

We received an email with file attached with rtf extension that has a ton of
formatting with tabs etc so much that you can't find or read the body of the
document.  Is there an easy way to get rid of the formatting?

I am using the Avery 8387 template to create a (4) 5.5 * 4.25 squares on a

I wanted a line to apper in the outside margins of the page and set this as a
template. I tried news paper type columns, alternate borders on new sections
which started on new pages and even tried the click and draw but couldn't
achive the desired result.

HELP!  I'm TRYING to convert a form of mine to a reusable TEMPLATE.  However,
the help buttons in this program aren't much use.  I don't know what I'm

Sometimes when I insert a cross reference into a Word document it will apear
ok. Then later when I 'update' field' the reference will jump to the head of
the next page creating an unwanted mid-paragraph page break. Please can
