I've tried over and over to delete a document that one of my children saved in Word 2002 and everytime I open up word, the document comes up. It will not allow me to start with a blank page.

When i open a word document, the slidebar on the right-hand side that allows you to navigate through the document has disappeared! I am also no longer able to minimize the windows (NOTE: the minimizer on WORD works, but not on individual documents).

I have managed to turn on some "Page Markers" that I can't turn off. I call them "Page Markers" as I don't know what they are called (and hence I can't find them in Help to turn them off). They are L-shaped markers that mark the page margins.
