I've tried over and over to delete a document that one of my children saved
in Word 2002 and everytime I open up word, the document comes up.
It will not allow me to start with a blank page.

How do I turn the document so that, instead of writing top-down, the page is

I am trying to a 4 page booklet.  Each sheet in the booklet would be 5.5

When i open a word document, the slidebar on the right-hand side that allows
you to navigate through the document has disappeared!  I am also no longer
able to minimize the windows (NOTE:  the minimizer on WORD works, but not on
individual documents).

Does anyone know how to disable the research pane from showing when you alt drag?

I have managed to turn on some "Page Markers" that I can't turn off.
I call them "Page Markers" as I don't know what they are called (and hence I
can't find them in Help to turn them off).
They are L-shaped markers that mark the page margins.
