In the past I have used a Microsoft template that is a Word document with
blocked sections; subject headings in left column; free-text typing in right
column which expands in length as the body of the text grows. There is a
black banner at top which allows for comany name, etc.

Looking for a page template preformatted, can anyone help?

trying to print text on a 7 1/2" by 8 1/2" paper. I want the text centered.

I hit two keys and my document changed.  There are now arrows before every
paragraph and reverse "P"s at the end.  There is also a dot between every
word.  How do I get rid of them?

When I launch a new Word doc in Word 2003 I cannot see the areas outside the
margins including the header/footer area. Therefore, in Print Layout View
the page looks tiny and the typing goes the the edge of the visible page!
Clicking on View Header and Footer corrects the view.
