 I want to create columns that stay on the same side throughout the
document (white paper format), without having to insert page/column breaks
manually.

I am doing a newsletter and want to put the Title on the cover page in the
left hand column with the letters sideways.  I put the title in a text box
and got them turned over but the largest font I can get is 72 and that does
not fill the column.  There must be a way to stretch ...

I have a situation where I need to change the page orientation in the middle
of a document.  I'm using section breaks to allow the change, but the headers
should remain on the short edge of the paper for binding.  Is there any way

When I save a template and use it for new document it opens in Web layout.
The template is NOT saved in web layout, the normal.dot is NOT in web layout
and other documents open fine using the normal.dog.

I have a document that puts a full horizintal line before my footnotes only
on page 2.  The other pages are fine with a 2" separator line.  This document
does this at Sheridan as well as at home so I say it's a bug with Word 2002.

I merged docs with independant numbered figures, and now I would like word to
automatically renumber them, is this possible?

I want to have an overall page number for identification during the drafting
stage as well as renumbering the pages for each section.   Is ther any way to
