I cannot find a template, and am having a tough time creating one that lines
up.  The paper is 8.5" x 7" with top and bottom border of 1", sides of .25",
4 columns, 10 rows - I can get close, but not perfect - wonder if anyone has
the answer?

I cant use space in equations.  I am using windows 7.0. Earlier, I used to
press CTRL and tap the space bar and I get the space inserted.  Now whatever
I do, no space gets in.

Is there a way to lock margins and table/cell widths using document protection?
I need the content to be editable but the styles and layout to be locked.

How do I do letters in Word that enable me to print them on to my stationary
letterhead for the first page, but use the regular top of page margin on any
subsequent pages, please?  When I adjust the top margin for the first page it
works...until the letter has a second page, when ...

term is so I'm calling them 'side headings'! What I mean, however, is a

I am preparing a document in which I need many continuous section breaks. MS
Word insists on converting some of them to page breaks. What can I do about

I often write reports using bullets or indenting to explain details.  As I go
down my list, it indents automatically, so my list is erratic.  I can select
all and make them the same.  But I'd rather turn formatting off, and type my

Recently when I create a new Word document, the page height is 9".
It used to be normal letter size.
I went into Page Setup and confirmed that the page size is letter - 8.5 X 11.
I made sure that my printer has letter size selected - my default printer.
