I cannot find a template, and am having a tough time creating one that lines up. The paper is 8.5" x 7" with top and bottom border of 1", sides of .25", 4 columns, 10 rows - I can get close, but not perfect - wonder if anyone has the answer?

I cant use space in equations. I am using windows 7.0. Earlier, I used to press CTRL and tap the space bar and I get the space inserted. Now whatever I do, no space gets in.

How do I do letters in Word that enable me to print them on to my stationary letterhead for the first page, but use the regular top of page margin on any subsequent pages, please? When I adjust the top margin for the first page it works...until the letter has a second page, when ...

What is the best way to do 'side headings'. I'm not sure what the correct term is so I'm calling them 'side headings'! What I mean, however, is a heading that sorts of sits in the margin while the rest of the paragraph is just normal or body text.

Recently when I create a new Word document, the page height is 9". It used to be normal letter size. I went into Page Setup and confirmed that the page size is letter - 8.5 X 11. I made sure that my printer has letter size selected - my default printer.
