I just converted a word perfect document to an .rtf, then I saved it as a doc. When I go to add a footer, the text I add only shows up on the first page. While the box for the footer shows up on each page, I have to manually enter the text in each box to get it to show up on ...

Word 97, MSOffice Pro, Win 98, Printer - UK paper sizes (A4) I am trying to prepare a page of labels but find that they won't all "fit" on one page of A4 despite entering a label type that is an Avery J8163 which has 7x2 labels per page of A4

I've been using Word since version 97 and until 2003, when I did a page setup, there was an option for footer margins. For example, I could set my bottom page margin to .5" and my footer margin to .25". I don't see that same setup in 2003.

The magazine where I want to advertise limits my advertisement to 1/4 page such that my ad is to be 2.125 inches tall by about 9 inches wide. Is there a way to limit myself to those dimensions while I am composing the ad so I know exactly the amount of space I have to "play" ...

I have an unusual formatting situation - I have a memoir written by my Danish Great Grandfather and I want to present the translation in the left column and the English translation on the right. I also want to include footnotes and insert pictures throughout that help illustrate

In my word documnet, when viewed on screen, my page numbers read 1 of 14, 2 of 14 etc. However, when I print the document I get 1 of 1, 2 of 2 etc. I have "update fileds" checked (and tried unchecked) in the printing options.

I am attempting to set print for a book. The first several pages can not show a header or footer. How do I begin the Header info (title of book and pg no) with the first page of the first chapter and keep the header info from appearing in the first several pages?

I accidently hit 'default' after changing the margins in a letter thinking it would put it back to the default, but it MADE it the default! Doh Does anyone know the default cm's?
