Word 2003 - I click to add a text box from the drawing toolbar and instead a huge frame is inserted. I don't want the frame, just a text box. This is a waste of time - any way to avoid it? This didn't happen in Word 2000.

Every now and then I accidently touch a key, I don't know which one and suddenly the view of the pages changes from being able to see top and bottom of each page to a view of only the top of the data and the last line of the data. I don't know how to change it back.
