I'm working on a Mac (Word for OSX), trying to create a document that
will be viewed on a PC. Using the same fonts (Palatino and Arial),
except they have the PC versions, of course. I've got styles set up,

When I switch to print layout the working area displays corner marks that
define the margins on the page.  They look like look like two line segments
at ninty degree angles to each other.  The left side is drawn opposite to the
right.  They are in a faint grayed line color.  

I have a document that contains text and graphics.  It looks find in print
view, but when I change to Reading View the formatting is way off.  The
first page looks OK, but the second page has about 4 or 5 inches of white
space at the top.  Any ideas on how to fix this.

I have a 20+ sectioned document where each section is set to begin with an
ODD page. However halfway through working on the document the section breaks
(not all) changed from ODD to EVEN.

I opened an existing document and noticed that all my spelling and grammar
lines were ON TOP of my words.  After further review I discovered that it was
because my character spacing was set to be at a LOWERED position.  Does

I found out from another post how to have different headers and footers on
