using windows xp with service pack 2 - canon s400 printer. left margin is printing incorrectly and footer is printing at the bottom of main text not 1.25 from bottom of page as settings say.

Does anyone know how to turn off the Markup layout option so it doesn't appear on opening an existing document? I always have to turn it off manually. Thanks.

I'm using the Family Newsletter template that I downloaded from MS. I need to add a page 3 in the same format as page 2, but I can't figure out how to copy all the borders, text boxes, etc. I've tried to Select All, but it doesn't select more than a single box or border.

My first page has more than one sections(type:continuse). when I insert a footnote in the first section, the left sections will be pushed into the new pages.Why?

I have a document that needs to have forms at the top, and a section at the bottom that can be freely edited. I've created two sections. I'm trying to figure out how to protect just the top (so the forms work), but have the bottom editable. How do you protect just one section?

Outline View seems as if it hasn't been touched in years. When I'm faced with doing an outline in Word, the outline number lists (under bullets and numbering) provide me with far more flexibility and ease of use than Outline View.
