This is really odd. Create a new document. Set it to NORMAL view and save it. Now close the document. Reopen the document ans set it to PRINT LAYOUT view.

After installing Acrobat 7.0 Standard, Word defaults the measurements of margins to points, not inches. Even the ruler atop and alongside the page is in points. How do I change this back?

In word perfect you could format a page to be "subdivided" this would actually show lines on your page subdividing it in however many sections you needed. Each section would then act as a page. You could change the margins and it would would apply for each section. Example, ...

When I open Word 2003 it immediately opens a blank document but which is not full-sized. If I immediately click on View - Header and Footer then I see the full-sized page. Clicking View - Header and Footer again I see the full-sized page but in the 'Print Layout' view.

Suddenly, my Word program is refusing to create more than one page per document. Tried to reset page definitions to see if it would help, but it is giving a message about right margins getting narrower. Will not allow me to reset margins to default.

I need to insert an index at the end of a document, ie after endnotes. Word wont let me do this after the endnotes, I can do it before but not after. I am also unable to insert a page/section break after the endnotes.
