I can't really explain this but I will try my best. Ok the problem for my microsoft word 2003 is if I use maximize mode, it has these gap on top which can see through the desktop or application that is on. It's 1.5cm apart from my pc monitor.

Every so often I will edit a document which I can do everything except delete page breaks or section breaks. what am I doing wrong. I have tried plcing the cursor before the break and pressing delete as well as highlighting it and pressing delete.

office 2003 sp1, xp pro sp2 i want to enable those 'L' shaped markers that appear on the page in the Page Layout view. i can make them appear by Tools -> Options -> View and ticking the Text boundaries option but doing this also brings up the dotted

I have cut and pasted text from the web. On some of it, there is a border around the text. I have tried everything, but cannot get rid of it. I believe it is a cell, but borders and shading reveals "no borders". Help!

co-worker sent a word .doc that looks and prints fine from her PC. On mine, however, pagination, formating are way off. Have compared fonts and page set up with hers - and they match. Can't figure out why I can't view/print the document like everybody else!

I went into Insert> Reference> Indexes and Tables> TOC page. I selected "Options" and selected Heading 7 as a level 1 option (in addition to Heading 1). When I go to the preview page, I can see Heading 7. When I tell it okay, and then refresh the TOC, the Heading 7 rows are not ...

All of a sudden, I have "Markup" activated every tiem I open a doucment ... incouding blan knew ones ... and I can't figure outn how to avoid this ... it si a royal pain when I try to print, since it screws up my page layout to allow room for the balloons.

This has happened to me in more than one file. I have the Styles and Formatting panel open on the right side of the screen. All is going normally - when I place the cursor into text with a particular style, the window at the top of the panel shows the style for that text.

I’m working on a document and have put in a header and footer. It’s not a page number, its some text and a logo. Now I need this to appear on every page EXCEPT for the first page. I have tried everything and its driving me mad because they always appear on my first page.
