Has any one had problems with the bottom margin parameter default? I would like to use a smaller margin than 0.46" but that appears to be the default. Could it be the computer itself?

Currently I am using Word 2003 with the latest service packs (and the same thing happens in Word 2002) The problem is that when a document becomes large, I find that the Word is anticipating what I am doing.
