Dear,
Since it is not possible to start pagenumers counting (from 1) on the second
page (at least as far as I know), I would like to suggest to improve this
feature in next versions of MS WORD.

Whenever I try to upload a .dot file to Internet for others to download and
use, the logos etc. disappears. What can I do to correctly upload a Word
template that contains graphics?

When I insert a short equation or icon in the paragraph, how can i control
the align format of  the inline equation and the text  around it ? I want
them to align by center.

I have a master document which contains 20 subdocuments.  Some text is
marked with the XE code for use in an index.  But when I generate the index,
it doesn't come out alphabetical.  Instead it comes out in the order they

In Office 2003:
I have a word document of file size 34kB.  I made two graphics in Visio.  
The Visio file is 359kB.  I copy-n-paste the two graphics into my doc with
default formt.  The document size goes to 887kB.  

How do I get Word (2000 and 2003) to stop prompting me about the fact that I
have left a "large" amount of text in the Clipboard? This is a colossal
waste of a click every time I exit. :-)

When I have used the multiple choice test template, the margins and the tabs
will not hold beyond the first page. How do I change that?

I have tried to print text on customized paper (6x8) and have set the margins
at .7inches. The print preview displays the layout just fine, but when
printed, the left margin is almost 2 inches wide. Help

I created a new custom document template. My question is, do I have to install
my new template on other computers in order to create new documents based on my
template? On one computer in particular I don't have administrator rights.

My new pc has windows XP and Word 2002.Text documents look ok in print layout
view, so presumably they'd print out ok, but in normal view, which I use for
working on the documents, the text starts on the left of the screen and goes

I have put in the correct measurements for the labels in custom labels (they
have no serial number) but it does not line up on the page in the correct
place.

Working in Microsoft Word.
In Header/Footer, I want to have the pages to be consistant extra the 1st
page.  I am using "Page Y to Z" but it is adding an extra page.
