I would like Word (student and teacher version) to have a template a
student can use to write a term paper, essay, or thesis. This should include
various writing formats: proposal, applications paper, dissertation, thesis,
research project etc.)  

I work for a non-profit, and we're hosting an event soon. I want to create
tickets via Word (2 across, 3 down) that contain both a watermark graphic and
formatted text. Is there a way to do this? I thought using an Avery lable
layout might work, but couldn't figure out how to ...

When the document is viewed in Word 'print layout' it is 34 pages long.
After opening the print command it becomes 36 pages long.
Any other document opened next also changes format (eg becomes longer and
text boxes move around generally creating a mess).

For notes of meetings we typically list actions items (with automatic
numbering) and have a separate column to the left of the list of items to
indentify who is responsible to act on each item.  We typically use a table
but you have to keep inserting new table rows for each item. ...

I remember reading someone's suggestions for the best format to use
considering size, crispness of edges, etc.    I am thinking it was either PNZ
or EMZ.
Does this sound right?  Any other suggestions?

I have downloaded a template for my resume but the page breaks are in the
middle of the page.  How do I turn off cells so I can cut and paste?

This is really frustrating. I have 2 sections in a document and am trying to

When I attempt to center a title and align the body of the ext to the left
margin, Word moves both title and body.  How do I stop this so only the
selected text is centered or aligned to the left?

I have created a document in Word XP 2002.  When I email it to fellow
employee's extra lines, page breaks and general spacing problems occur.  When
they send it back to me, it looks perfect and prints perfectly.  Any idea's
as to what is happening?

I have a large document that requires page numbers in the footer. When the
page numbers get above 99, the entire number wraps to the next line.
How can I keep a three-digit page number on the first line of the footer?
