I can print the template on other computers and the text boxes show up fine. When I print or preview from this computer the text boxes disapear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

In Swedish typographical rules intervals are specified using an en dash rather than a normal hyphen (for example "the pipe must be 10--12 feet long"). Inserting one isn't a problem. What is a problem is to avoid breaking the line at the en dash. Can it be done? If so, how?

Being "the guy who knows computers", my dad asked me to troubleshoot his Word 97 for him. I never use Word, so I've had trouble helping him. Somehow, Word always opens files - new ones (CTRL-N) or old files saved on disk - in a mode (Layout mode I think) which displays a sidebar

Is it possible to layer a word document so that I can choose to print it and leave out certain bits of information. Other times I will want to print it while including this information.

I am developing letterhead templates, and I need the body of the letter to always start in the same position, regardless of the number of lines in the salutation. Is there a way to lock a text box so other users can not move it?

No matter how I orient my page, my text types in a head to toe direction. All of my "previews" in my formating screens show this as well. I take an existing document with correct text direction and page orientation type what I need, but any new word documents start out the way ...

Can i print a document with no margins at all? Does that depends on the printer? And if so, is there a "trick" you can do to "force" the document to be printed until the very last piece of paper? Thanks!

Currently, when I drag and drop a Word document into another Word document, the entire document just gets inserted. How can I change this, such that I simply get a small icon of the dropped doc; i.e. I want an embedded doc?

I'm trying to convert an existing document into columns, but when I follow the instructions by selecting a part of the document the highlighted or selected portion doesn't move to the second column. What am I doing wrong?
