I would like to add side headings to my thesis document to provide a running
commentary to my discussion in the main body of the text and have no idea how
to go about it. Can anyone help?

I have inserted a watermark in a document. I want to see it. Have tried
using Page Layout but it is not visible. What action must I take to make
this water mark (a scanned image of a form which I want to overlay with a
table) visible?

I am trying to number the pages in a document manually.  I have a document
that is about 60 pages but i will be inserting another 20 or so pages into it
when i print it.  These pages will be inserted in the middle of the document
therefor will mess with the original numbering.  ...

I cannot figure out how to view formatting lines for a full-page of labels. I
see only a blank page.

system, Word sets the default to landscape, when I want it to stay portrait.

Using office 2003 on winxp pro sp2 has anyone encountered this issue whereby
word2003 can only view documents in "Print Layout mode" but when change to
"Normal view" the documents becomes a blank page

Hola to all,
I have a document with headers and footers and it looks ok to me, I even
managed with the section breaks and these kind of things. However, I would
like to make the document  more nice.

In and indented paragraph that is justified the right margin move to the left
about 7 characters to the left when you switch between normal and print view.
I have taken the document to other computers and this does not happen
