I would like to set the page # insertion default to be (a) top-right of page
and (b) no number on the first page.  Is there a way to do that?  The current
default is at the bottom of the page.  Thanks

I am using Office 2003 on Windows XP. I have a HP deskjet 5650 printer.
The problem I have is that I can't print landscape inside Word. I can
print using Excel or anything else but Word will not. Is there a
setting inside Word that will override my printer settings other than

I don't want to start in final showing markup mode and would like it to start
in the final mode upon startup?

I set the tabs for one line and added multiple lines and the tabs didn't
transfer to cover the entire doc.
How do I copy tabs from one line to the entire doc?

I'm trying to print the brochure correctly (printer has duplex capability).
Prints on both sides however the trifold doesn't line up correctly. The
second page prints upside down and starts on the wrong side.Not sure what
options to change.

When I type invoices etc in microsoft word, I have the type set for single
line spacing.  However, it is performing 1 1/2 line spacing which is a
problem in the address portion of the document.  I wonder if it is
remembering format as i do use a lot of double line formatting ...

I was finishing my work and they asked me to change the document to be
printed as a book. I know how to do it. The problem is that the configuration
of the document is completely modified. I need help!

Is there a way of inserting a picture, having it on the top right of a page,
with text on the top left, and continuing this down the page.  I have a work
project to do and have to produce an illustrated manual.  Thanks

I type a lot of documents and used to justify them so all sentences were the
same length except the last of a paragraph. I cannot seem to do that anymore
and the problem is somewhat annoying! Any help would be appreciated.

When highlighting portions of a document to change the formatting, the change
affects the whole document.  By clicking on the back arrow, I can restore the
original formating and allow the change to remain.

When I am using MWord and creating letters/Mailings_ Envelopes and Labels
I open up a label document however the label outlines are missing from the
doccument.  I realize that going to tools and show grid outline makes them
appear.  This works until I close the document and  open ...

Is there any way to create text one coulmn and footnotes two coulmns or vs.?

Hi, I have downloades a template I like, but I want an extra page on the end-
can it be added and how is it done?

Is there a way to set a default label size so that when I access "envelopes
and labels," that size always comes up?  I use the same size most of the time
but always have to scroll through and select it.
