Postcards changing to 2 pages in Word2003?16 May 2006 22:58 GMT3
We've created a couple of post cards in Word 2000 (we run them on perferated
paper).  When we've opened them in Word 2003 it becomes a 2 page document -
the first page contains the same 4 postcards as in Word 2000, but the 2nd
page is blank.  Have tried to use the "shrink to fit" ...

I need to have a small line embedded onto a word document- I have a header on
the file and I need to embed the line so it can't move regardless of what I
am doing to the text (the line is on the left-hand margin and currently moves
around when I am messing with the text...

In a 10 Chapter document, I must paginate:
Title Page (counted as page "i." in lower case Roman numerals, but the
numeral is not typed on the page.)
Table of Contents (enter page "ii." at the bottom of the first page and

In making a form in Word 2000 that is to be filled in by hand, I used
underlines for lines. The font is Arial Narrow 12. The text is not
bolded, but the lines are too thick. Is there a way to reduce the
thickness of the underline character?

Ihave a letter that I want to print and I changed the margins to a new frame
left.  After doing this I can't get it to print.  The page just comes through
blank.

be folded three ways. I am unsure of how to set this up in Word 2003.

The normal Style gallery is causing a 2&1/2 inch border on either side of the
page and a 5 inch boder at the bottom of the page while printing, and this is
causing the print out of the page I type in after resetting the margings and
borders to truncate.

There is a question that says "Inset this text from the left margin at least
35mm but no more than 50mm across and at least 60mm but no more than 75mm
down." I have tried using tabs but it seems to do either one line or the
whole paragraph.

I fax from my desktop all the time, and wish to have our company header &
footer on the first page only.  My work is usally inserted images on the
remaining pages, so I don't need headers / footers for those shets...Is this

I am using Word 2003.
When I click on the "Insert AutoText" from the Header and Footer toolbar,
every option is duplicated.
I have "-PAGE-" twice, "Author, Page #, Date" twice, ....

I purchased a BBQ invitation but cannot get it to print correctly on my
invitation.  It is printing to far to the left.  I have changed the margin
configuration every way I know how.  But when I place my invitation in my
printer it is about 1/2 inch to far to the right on the ...

I've copied and pasted text into a word document a total of 4 pages but
cannot remove the blank page 5.  On page 4, immediately after the text, there
is a section break (next page) and if I remove this all the lines above
separate onto pages of their own, i.e. 156 pages....
