When I generate a TOC I sometimes have a major heading separated from its subheadings by an automatic page break. I would like to insert a page break before the major heading so all the entries remain together.

Somehow Word thinks my default document has two columns and will not allow me to type beyond the first page without putting in a hard page break. I can keep typing, but the information does not show up until I put in a hard carriage return. When I try to change the normal.dot ...

We now have a color laser printer and want to print our letterheads using our "traditional" dark blue text with a light blue logo as a watermark. We have a blue line drawing "logo" set up as 100% saturation (in Illustrator) and saved as Logo.jpg that we want to use as a watermark.

I have a 16 page document that was created by combining five separate documents. I inserted section breaks between each document in order to keep original formatting of each. One document is 7 pages of a table.

I changed the page orientation from portrait to landscape. It looks like that and print preview shows that. However, when it prints, it prints in portrait. I inserted a new section and changed the orientation to portrait. The new section prints in landscape.

How can I center the watermark in a 3X5 index card template? There are 3 cards per sheet. The watermark shows in the 2nd card and is outside the card margin.

I have a document that was done in the print layout screen. However in normal view only two lines of the document show up, and that is all that prints as well. How can I get the entired document to print, and is there a way to transfer this info to a document set in normal view?

I think I'm going potty! I've just had to use a TOC, styles, and numbering for the first time, and it's driving me nuts. I've got the document nearly as i want it, but am not quite there. I've got three styles in the document, all based on Garmond bold.

When I attempt to insert the filename and path at the bottom of a Word document it is only giving me the filename and not the complete path. In the past it was giving me the entire filename and path but stopped suddenly. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
