I followed instructions to create a blank label sheet of 5160 labels. But After I click new document a sheet of labels should be showing but the lines are not there or the label boxes. What am I doing wrong.

I know you can change the ruler to centimeters or inches in the "tools, options, general, measurement units" section - but this is different. The vertical ruler keeps showing what I think is line numbers. The horizontal ruler is showing increments of 2 every 1/4 inch or so.

When I print a document in WRD 2003, the text in my footer is further away from the edge of the page than in my header even though I've set them both to 1.25 cm in Page Setup. (Btw the top anbd bottom margins are set to 3cm). And yet there is this discrepency when I print.

I am trying to set gutters for pages 1 through 7 as (normal) and setting gutters for pages 8 thorugh 15 as (mirror margins). I can set different margin sizes, and set different gutter sizes., but can not mirror some pages and not others... HELP

I have a *.doc where some of the pages the text direction is from top-to-bottom instead of left-to-tight. how can I turn the text around? Even the icons in the Toolbar go top-bottom.

How do I keep workd from making unwanted and time consuming changes to my formatting. Example...doing a resume...lining up everything...save it and then it changes and things are out of line. What gives??????

I am using Word 2003 and I am having a hard time trying to find a view that offers you a horizontal scroll bar. I am using a very large page (11 X 17) and my document is in landscape. In older versions of word you could toggle between views with a small toolbar

I'm using Word and when I hit enter I see a symbol that looks like a paragraph sign. There are arrows when I hit the tab key. How do I eliminate these symbols from my text? Thanks!

Is there anyway to set rulers so that 0"-0" is top left edge of page, thus making all measurements true. Now my rulers are set so that 0"-0" is at the point where the top margin and side margin meet.
