Page set-up works fine in a letter but I have a long A4 document of 200 pages
and I've set left and right at 2.5 cm plus a left gutter of 1cm 'in whole
document'. But Print View shows a wider right margin and also in a printed
page both margins are wider than I've specified.

I did a search, but there were so many footer questions...
Is it possible, when creating a template, to have the footer change
automatically from one footer (a signature box) when my template is one page
to another footer (page 1 of x) when it runs 2 pages?  My template is a bid

Is there that much of a difference in functionality between Word 2003 and
Word 2007?

I am preparing a book.
 It has Multiple pages: two on a landscape 8 1/2 x 11 sheet.
A picture on the right side, page two, prints on the left side, page one.
Try it.  Page Setup: "landscape"

I'm working on a project that requires the 8.5 x 11 paper be printed
landscape, with two pages per sheet (same side, like opening a book). I've
done projects like this in my sleep. Now that I'm working with Office 2007,
the Clip Art I've inserted on the second page prints and views ...

I'm using Word 2003 and would like to insert trim/crop marks in my files.  Is
there any simple way to do this?

Is there a way in Word to make a character style that would only apply the
selected formatting (e.g., bold, underline, smallcaps) to the selected text?
Even when I specify that a character style is to be based on (underlying
properties), Word selects a font for the character ...

I'm trying to Right align a date while leaving the main sentence left aligned
all on the same line.  How do I do this.

When I print my documents, the entire content is crooked on the piece of

When I open a Word document, the layout defaults to "Reading Layout". It will
also open in "Mark up" format. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
I'd like it to open in Normal or Print view and not marked up. Can someone
help?

I'm struggling with Word2007 which I bought, thinking to have
the latest and best word processor.
I have on my computer:  WP 5.1(dos), AmiPro3, Word95,

I'm editing my story.  I have used 'Track Changes'.  Sometime a line of stars
appeared across the page and Iif I delete it it shows up a few lines below.  
The line looks like littlw squares but I can create it by typing many *s and
hitting [Enter].
