I type am em-dash using the keyboard. Now, when I go to the Insert Menu, Symbols is not there. I restarted the computer and Symbols is still not on the Insert Menu. What can i do? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I want to get rid of something from the word window, all it looks like a capital L on the right hand top and bottom corners and turn L the other way around on the left hand top and bottom corners. I just simply dont know how to take that off from my word window.

I have Win XP SP2, all updated, Word 2002, SP3. Choosing say A4 for page setup, setting it to 100% and viewing as Print layout, at 100% used to give a screen size page which was actually equal to A4 ie 21cm x 29.7cm.
