using win xp / word 2002
1. Have chosen a background in web layout and want to print the document
displaying the background. Printer wil not print it - just get normal white
background. Have tried watermark command but cannot track down the background

Anyone familiar with "track changes" in Word?   When someone do changes in
document and all those goo looging .  I don't know how to "accept" the
changes.  I can hide the edits, but not accept them.

When working within a document, the view size of the page changes from 100%
to 200% after I insert a macro.  It just started to do this & I have no
explanation, but the view size should not be changing.

With no borders applied, I am wondering how why there are grayed L's in the  
4 corners of the page appering as (_l , l_ ...), it seems as though they are
set to the page margins, yet theylook similar to those depicted in the page
border assigning.

I am using Word 2003.
Whenever I click on 3D in the Borders and Shading dialog box, the 3D border
does not take effect. Instead, I get Box each time. What must I do to get a
3D border?

How do I print on the second side?

We want to print a student directory using the Book fold setup but want to
print in the landscape orientation so it's read from top to bottom, rather
than left to right as in the landscape orientation.  We've done the normal
book layout, but are adding more information on each ...

The margins in page set up are 1" on right and left, but when it prints the
right margin is at 2" not 1".  Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?

In a title in Powerpoint, if the title gets a little too long, the font size
is reduced automatically. I want to do the same thing in Word. I don't want
the text to wrap or the container to change size, I just want the font to get
smaller. Is there a way, inside of a text box or ...

When I select page border from page layout I find that the bottom edge has
disappeared when I check print preview, even though it shows up on screen.
How do I rectify this?

Long story short, I was using Publisher to create a cookbook--no problem.
Now others in my group are asking me to use Word to create the cookbook. Any
suggestions on layout--as far as I know they want it in book form. Please,
any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
