Is there a way to delink the "Same as Previous" feature (in my template) for the Footer (while leaving the Header linked) and apply this new setting as the default when inserting a next page Section Break?

The Normal template on my version of Word now has a default measurements using "point" instead of inches. How did this happen, and how do I change it back???

I am using Word 2002 (XP). Excel has this feature (Page Setup / Page), but I can't find it in Word. Trying to do the same thing with Zoom is awkward and time-consuming. Is this feature simply not there in Word anymore? While searching the internet, I learned that it used to be.

I cannot get the feature of adding endnotes at the end of a section to work properly in Word 2003 SP1. I'm trying to add references as endnotes to the main body of text, and in a following section place appendices. I've followed the instructions and checked the on-line help
