i use styles exclusively. occasionally, i want to bold or color a word within
a style (e.g. heading 1). when i do this, a new style is created (e.g.
heading 1 bold). if the heading 1 style is later updated, the heading 1 bold
style may be overwritten and the bold is lost.

I created a horizontal rule by typing a series of "equals" characters. Word
automatically creates the horizontal line for you when you do this. Now, I
can't find a way to select it and delete it. How can I remove this double
line horizontal rule?

I am trying to print a page with 0.5 cm margins and it looks nice in print
preview. When printed the page has bigger margins on one side. What should I
do to be able to print 0.5 margins on all four sides.

Cannot change font size by any fomatting method used in Word.

I am trying to print a 5X7 inch invitation, and for some reason, it prints
way off to the left and cuts off the text.  I have gone into Page Setup and
selected Custom Size 5X7 and also selected to "center" the invitation.  Does
anyone have any advice on how I can get this ...

Is there a checked checkbox available to me in Word that Word can insert
into a document?  I chose Insert | Symbol but didn't find such a
