I will be writing papers in my mathematics class. I would like to include
pictures of various geometric figures...triangles, circles, parabolas, etc.

How can I remove the bar separating footnotes from text?  It appears just
above the foot note area. It is left aligned and runs halfway through the page

I want to place a timeline that is formatted in landscape into a report that
is formatted portrait otherwise. How do I do this and still number that page
as though it were formatted portrait?

I change the position of my tab and indent for numbered headings (like,
Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3), update the style throughout the
document for the heading, but when I close the document and open it back up,

I'm trying to link two text frames in Word 2007 so that text flows
automatically from one to another. Can this be done? I can't figure it out.

I need to set up a page format for three compliment slips.  This was simple
in WordPerfect but Word doesn't seem to have the same layout/template.

Maybe I should be using Gutters?  Printing 2-sided for insertion into 3-ring
binders and don't want to punch holes in text, but when I change to Mirror
Margins, even paged headers print way off to the left of the paper, and some
text is lost.  Help!

I find that the newer operating systems make it impossible to labels
correctly to line printers.  I had created templates in Windows 95 & 98.  
They won't work in anything newer.
An example of my problem is printing on 11 x 14 7/8 continuous feed paper.  

I'm working with a document created by someone else so I'm trying to
understand how it is set up.

In Word 2007, whenever I paste a slide or screenshot into a doc, the
wrapping default is not the same as in Word 2003.  I'd like to have the
default be "in line with text" as the layout wrapping option.  Is this
possible?
