I'm creating a custom sized document, 10 x 14 inches, but the margin setup page will not allow me to set a bottom margin less than 3.16". How do i get around this?

I can't seem to set the first 7 pages to letter size and the next two pages to 11x17 - I put page breaks before and after the 2 pages and no luck this is in Word 2007. Help!!!

Documents saved will not open correctly. If I browse to a file and try to open it, none of the formating or graphics saved in that file will be displayed. However what appears to be code for the formating & graphics shows as text.

I have Office 2003. Every time I go to open an Word Document as an attachment from my Outlook, it opens it in a "reading" view. I want it to open in the "Print" view or at least the "normal" view. How do I do this?

Thin spaces are used to separate a footnote from the preceding text unless there's intervening punctuation, to separate double and single quotes, with the degree symbol, in equations, and in a few other instances. Kerning works, but seems tedious.

My default measurement unit in Word keeps returning to points. I go into Tools - Options - General and reset the measurement unit to inches. It's good for a while, then all of a sudden it's measuring in points. Is there something else I should be doing in order to lock Word ...

A Document containing several pages has the irritating habit of altering the whole document when editing a row on the first page ( maybe just adding a few words). Is there any way of preventing Word from automatically moving the text on subsequent pages.
