I am currently working on a multi chapter document created by someone else.  
The problem is that I don't want a header on the first 2 pages, and want the
the header on the rest of the document except for 1 section in the middle of
the document.

How do I change the display of hyperlinks in all my documents back to the
blue underlines?

I'm using Word 2003 in XP and have a Word document for a price list in which
the data is in a linked Excel spreadsheet.
For clarity, alternate rows in the Excel table have a fill colour (25%
gray).  The problem is that this colouring is not visible in the Word

I want to start a column after a full page paragraph. I end up splitting the
above writing into columns too. How do I do it?

How do I create "newspaper columns" where I can add to any column with out it
adjusting all the columns?

I was working in my document and suddenly it changed to show the paragraph
signs and there are dots between every word.  I'm sure I hit some button but

I have headers and footers with horizontal lines, and the one in the footer
(top of footer) is longer than the one in the header (bottom of footer).
Both are supposed to be the same length and every setting I can find in the
"borders and shading" is identical.  

I have a space tha I can<t delete.
If I have no footnotes on the page, I get a separator and a blank line.
If I have a f-note, then I get a blank line before the note is listed.

One day, my vertical and horizontal ruler started to disappear. I have
already tried what people wrote here earlier:
1. tools - options - view etc. - this did not maky any difference,
2. view - ruler - I cannot find the "ruler" in the "view" :)

Hi!  
Each week I create a message in Word to send to my Spanish Club.  It often
consists of lists of words in columns created using tabs.  Looks great in
Word.  

How do I create a watermark on a blank page, and then use it as a default
blank page to send emails, the watermark I want to use is a company logo (jpg
image).  Do anyone have any ideas?

I go to Set Number Value under the number formats but it does not apply my
request.  Soemtimes if I right click the section a "restart at 1" lines comes
up but it is not doing it in my current document.  Thanks-Kelly

What is the most effective and quickest way to remove all numbering from
styles either to have none at all or to restart and have a different
numbering style

Hey, is there any way to suppress the page feature on Word 2007? So instead
of appearing as seperate 8.5x11 (or whatever) pages, your text appears as a
single continuous block, rather like it does in Wordpad?
