I'm trying to put horizontal lines in my text, as a way of separating news items. I'm using Format | Borders and Shading, and selecting to apply to the Paragraph. Actually, the only other choice is text, and that's an outline.

Person has created a large formatted document on WordXP. The person has recently upgraded to Word2003 and is now experiencing slight but numerous formatting variances with the same document. They are avoiding reformatting. Please advise.

In Word I have made a manual, and every chapter is started with a text in Heading 1. I want the footer of every page of that chapter to include the chapter name. Is there a way I can automatically do this?

A document is created in Word on a computer with line spacing 1.5, when a scond person opens the same document on a different computer, the spacing turns out to be single. Line spacing is varying on almost every other computer.

My Microsoft Word 2007 randomly started defaulting the top margin to about the 4 inch level. It is literally half way down the page, and will not allow me to move up any further. I've attempted to change my margins, and they say that they are 1inch all around.
