When I open my saved document (1 inch margins right and left) it appears and
prints with the text shrunk and a two inch margin on the right. I've checked
things like gutters - in fact checked everything and searched help. I'm not a

I am creating a template for others to use.  
It has a one column section at the top of the page for the main heading
followed by a three column section.  
I want to indicate where an image will be inserted.  I have tried created a

I have small dots that arrived when I started using the formating options.

I just started using the option to view my formatting.  And now I have these
small black dots in the margins that I can not remove.

In drafting a legal pleading in Word 2007, I have a need to impose margins of
0.5 inch on quotes as a way of distinguishing from the rest of the text of

When viewing a document in normal view, left margin appears as zero.  When
viewed as print preview, it shows correct margin as set in page setup.  
Printer also prints correct margins.

While I'm here with my small document from hell, all of a sudden, weird
styles are showing up in the style pull down menu.  Please tell me I'm wrong.
When I copy stuff from another document (pages of it) I'm bring over their
