Here is my problem, im trying to lock the logo in the header but allow the rest of the header to be edited and make sure that tex will not go over the header. Then i have a text box that i want to lock but allow them to add to the footer but not delete what is there.

in 2007, isn't there a way to show margins? Seems like this was one of the available (pre?)views in older versions. I've read up on "white space" but was thinking there should be dotted lines indicating where the Margins are on a given page prior to printing.

I've got an image file that is 1700 x 2200 pixels (8.5 x 11 letter size) that I would like to use as a template. So far I know of two different ways to insert it as the background pic and they give me two different problems: (using word 2007)

Some documents are always printed from drawer 2. If you go to "page setup", you can see this is embedded in the document. If you print the document on a printer which is pre-defined on drawer 1 (general tab as well as advanced tab in printer properties), it still is printed on

I have Windows Vista, Home edition and when i put a page border on a document, the bottom doesn't appear. I have changed the margin from 'edge of page' to higher but it hasn't had any effect at all. Any ideas ?
