hi, i work with alot of documents in acrobat and word and like my layouts to
be as precise as possible. If i wanted to convert from millimeters to the pt
system used in word what figure would i use. i came across 1:2.8

For some reason between do footnotes, a blank, single line space has appeared
that won't go just be using back space, as usual. I've also tried
high-lighting the area clicking single-line spacing, under the paragraph
function. Any ideas of how to get rid of it?

The toolbar under the ruler disappeared from all my past and new Word
documents.  Instructions I've found so far tell me to go to Tools or
Favorites - which I can't do because they're on the missing toolbar.
I have the toolbar in Excel and Access but not in Word.

I have MS Office 2003.  When I start a new document it places my cursor about
4" down.  When I click to show the header, the header is shown as the entire
page.  
I have the same problem on a 70 page document where some pages, have a 4"

When I view the Page x of y in Print Layout view, it shows 'Page 39 of 39' on
the last page. But when I open the Footer to edit it says 'Page 43 of 43'.
The last section (Section 3) has two-column layout but there doesn't seem to
