I have noticed that manual page breaks are treated differently in 2007. If you insert a manual page break (ctrl+enter) in Word 2003 or earlier, you get only a page break and the paragraph is moved to the next page. If you type something and use word count, Word tells you

I have a document in 2 columns. When I want to add a graphic in the middle of the page, I would like the text to wrap around it. It does, but on either side of the graphic the text is very uneven, and some of the words look like they are all justifying right instead of justifying ...

I am designing a fill in form with the first 2 pages protected. On page 3 I have an Excel wooksheet that I want to be able to edit. I have tried a break before page 3 but I must be doining it wrong, when I protect the form page 3 is still locked.

If I have multiple columns in a docx, and I want graphics in those columns aligned right....how do I do it. Using the align right button puts the graphic in the last column on the right. I merely want to align it to the right margin of the first column.

If I open a Word 2003 document that has one line formatted as a multiple line such as thin thick thin, Word 2007 alows me to insert another line and then format to include the Special choices. Starting from scratch, Special is greyed out. I've tested this on other peoples ...

How can I create a page header for an outlined document? When I create a page header, it only appears on the first page. When headers/footers viewed on subsequent pages, they are blank. There don't appear to be sections.

When I open up "word" to type a document, the margins are less than 1/8" on each side, 1/2" on top and no margin on the bottom. Also, when I open a created word doc file with shipping labels, I merge the date and when I print, the information no longer lines up as before.

My problem is with Office 2003. I created a letterhead for my company in Publisher, but in order for everyone to use it, it has to be converted to a Word Template (I am the only one with Publisher in the office.)

I would like to create a hidden column on the left side of each page for explanation of what is written on the words document. This column can only be show on the PC. When printed out, all this explanation on this column will not display on the printout.

Why is the font size different printed than when viewed? My font size is set at 12 however when the document is printed the fonts are smaller.

Can you turn the paper sideways? i need to fit four colums on one paper.... i need that paper to read long way to long way (normal paper is short to short).
