JUST had a problem occur today that is driving me MAD.
In MS Word now I get what I call margin boundary markers - not sure of the
correct term.   In all cases its when I am in print layout mode.
What it is looks like 2 sides of a square - and there is one at each corner

I'm making a document. I don't want the cover page or the table of contents
numbered, and I want page 1 to start on the page after the table of contents.
I've managed to get this to work, however, my page numbers are in the format

When I push my center alignment button on the formatting toolbar it is
centering every line in the document instead of just the paragraph.
I have tried opening a new document and it still happens.

I'm using an old document that has tabs assigned that i want to move around
or remove.  I used to be able to click on the tab in the ruler at the top of
the page and drag it to a new location or off the ruler to remove it
completely.  The tabs show black but aren't selectable.  ...

I'm stumped.  I have a template that is divided into sections with the same
footer for the entire document.  At first, the document sections were
separated by page breaks, which maintained the whole footer (date, doc title,
page number (1,2,3...).  I want my doc footer page ...

When I paste text from one part of the document to another, Word provides the
paste option. How do I access those three/four options without having to use
the Mouse? The mouse is a time-killer.

I am using Word 2007 and have created my own template. I want the users to be
able to unprotect the document for other changes once the form is filled in.
However, when I unlock the document, it still will only allow the form fields
to be edited.

When freshly installed Word 2003 displays a nice space the size of a header
and footer at the top and bottom of the page.  However, for some reason mine
has ceased to do so and presses the text right up to the top of the screen.

I am using MS Word XP Pro. Something has happened to my right hand margin.
Regardless of where I set the margins using Page Setup (either the default
setting or custom setting), the right margin text wraps at 6 inches. I have

I am having problems deleting a page in a newsletter template.  I can delete
the tables and text, but the blank page still remains.  How can I delete the
entire page in the newsletter template?

I can't figure out how to create a simple checkbox that users can check and
uncheck when needed.

Opened a word doc from a client today, in w2007, that has a line under each
line, similar to lined paper.
Now new docs have a grid, and saved docs are displayed with lines.
How do I stop this.
