I'm trying to make postcard sized fliers to promote an event. I've created a full sized .doc image (text & photo), now I need to rotate it horizontally, reduce it to 25%, and get four postcard sized fliers from each sheet of paper.

The margins in my document change on their own! I've enabled the "show/hide" to try to delete any inadvertent changes, but none show up. I've tried highlighting the entire document and changing the margins, but they don't "stick."

I understand that word opens documents in the "view" it was last saved. If I receive a doc via outlook it always opens in the Reading pane view. Since it always changes the doc to that view I must assume it is a setting. Can this be changed?

i'm working on a manuscript, and one of the authors sent me a chapter to import into the main document. the endnotes in his chapter are indented, and the page numbers are off center as well. Nothing I do seems to correct either. He's working from a MAC and I'm on a PC.
