I work in an office where we print ID's and we use a DataCard printer but in
the printers it is called Smart Driver. Whenever you open a word document the
settings are such that it would fit on an ID card. Is there anyway to make
sure that the settings are just for a normal sheet ...

can press ctrl enter in the toc to go directly to the table of contents.  
My boss wants me to create a link between the attachement referenced in the
text of the manual and the attachment in the appendix. ...

How can I view my document at 100%, but still have it centered in my screen?
That's the way it was in the old word. Right now it puts a pae on the left at
100%, but if I zoom to 120%, it is centered, but the text is bigger than I
wat to see. Please help, this is driving me crazy! ...

I have a document set portrait with running footers. When I create a new
section and set it with landscaped pages, it also landscapes the footer. I'd
like to be able to retain the footers in portrait position but still keep the
body of the document set landscaped.

As I scroll through a document, the page number shows up in a small box by
the scrollbar, such as "Page: 1," and then on the next page, "Page: 2," etc.
How can I edit this so that I can change the text to read "Chapter 1" or
"Chapter 2," etc.?

I am currently working in word 2007.  I am a transcriptionist and am
currently using a program called vareque, which opens a word document for me
to type a dictation and upon completion I submit the job for editing...  my
porblems is occuring when the proof reader opens the ...

I have inserted an image in the footer, which fills the width and I have
located this image at the bottom of the footer.
However when you print the page the image is always 10mm from the bottom of
the paper. The image will not print flush with the edge of the paper.

I have edited a document that I previously created as a form, and now the
"Yes, start enforcing protection" option is grayed out so I cannot resave as
a form. I cannot figure out what step I am missing.

I have created a template from an existing document that had headers and
footers.  When I save it as a template (.dotx - 2007), it does not give me
any sort of error, but if I close and reopen the template or try to open a
new document from it, the entire header (text and image) ...
