How do you set NO SPACING as the default in 2007? We can set it to No Spacing but it doesn't seem to hold for a new document. Tried changing it under styles but it won't hold for a new document.

I start my word document, make new custom colors for my document in th themes tab (under Page Layout) then when finished save and close. When i reopen my document, the themes tab is unpressable and the color have returned to the default and my whole color scheme has gone to pot!

Word 2003: I have a document for which the document map keep on displaying. I hide the document map, save the document, close it, but when I open the document again, the document map displays again. How do I "permanently" hide the document map?

I cannot figure out WHY the bottom margin defaults to .58 on all my word docs and I am not given the ability to change it. The most recent example is in working with labels, but it happens on all of my word docs.

I have a block of text that I need to repeat on each of six pages. Unfortunately, it gets altered often, so rather than "copy and paste" six times after each edit I would like the edited text to be automatically updated on each page. I thought there might be a setting for a Text ...

I created my first TOC in Word using a how-to video I found on YouTube. But, I would like the TOC items to be hyperlinks to the headings in the document (the video didn't show that part). I found that if I click in the TOC a couple times, I get the Update Table

it happens as when i press tab on the sentence and it control the whole paragraph and it aligns to it. How do i remove that feature? Which means that i cannot use tab at all in words because all every sentence in my paragraph will align to the tab space when i press.

When i preview my papers it only shows the middle part of my paper and not any text towards the margins. I've tried everything adjusting margins, zooming and nothing seems to help. I'd really like to see what my paper looks like and how far I've gotten but I cant. Please help
