When I use page number or TOC I see only hypelinks ( {TOC \o"2-3"\h\z\t"Heading 1;1"} or {PAGE \*MERGEFORMAT}). So, I can't see contents or 1,2,3... Whats worg my documents?

I have an existing document that was manually outlined (1, 1.1, 1.1.1 etc). Is there a way to automatically select the multi-level list and create a new list. I would like to take advantage of autonumbering.

I have to admit that I used WordPerfect till a couple of years ago. There was a tool that was called "Make It Fit," where, if your text covered just a little more than one page, you could have the text automatically adjusted to fit on one page. It was a pretty handy thing.

When working with a lot of data documents I forget where I saved them. I know there is a way to automatically input into a document itself the location (folder) of it. Usually it is found on the bottom or the side of a document, like a footnote. Can anyone help me please?
