If I insert the date into a word 2000 document (01/03/03 format) what I see on the screen is just what I need, but when I print out a hard copy the date is corrupt this can be random letters or numbers or both. I am also told the mail merge will not work on this PC.

I have a client that just upgraded to XP pro and Office. We are using an HP 5 Si with an envelope feeder and 2 lower trays. Full letterhead paper is in the MP tray and footer only paper is in tray 2. Tray 3 holds plain paper.

Does anyone know why I cannot print a document from the shortcut menu? Why do I have to "open" the document in order to print it? Old version of MS Word you could print from the shortcut menu!
