I'm trying to transfer a document from my laptop to my pc
without a floppy drive, using a CD-RW to do so.  When I
bring the document up on the pc, the various font sizes
and styles are changed from what they were on the laptop

When I installed windows 2000 I lost fonts on my office 97
word program. Can any one tell me how to get them back?
They are ones I used alot so far I know of 9 fonts that
just disappeared.

I know you can print the document and then print the

My control panel/Fonts folder is showing many more fonts than I have in Word?  There are several Fonts such as Roman, Script and Modern that are in my Fonts folder but do not show up in Word.  Any idea how I can get Word to recognize those fonts?

In Word 2000 I have a Master Document containing links to
several subdocuments. I need to print everything to a PDF
file. I opened the Master doc in Outline view and expanded
the subdocuments, but when I print it to PDF, only the

we are running Win2k with office 2003. We tried to add a
new font through control panel fonts, but the option to
install new font does not appear. We put the font under
c:\winnt\fonts and it still cannot be used.

I've been using MSWord 2000 on XP for some time now,
probably a year. I've never had problems but lately - for
some reason - a font called Sylfaen decided to make
itself my default. I couldn't find Times New Roman in
