I use Windows XP and my Word 97 docs appear OK on screen but when printed alternate lines appear to be slanted, either right or left, and only when printing in black. Is this an incompatibility between XP and Word 97 or what, This is playing havoc with my job application letters ...

I think that Word assumes that paper will always be WHITE, so if I try to print WHITE text on colored background it works fine, because word prints only the background, and if it's on white paper (as most time is) it seems white

i installed HP Deskjet 3550 in windowsXP, my problem is when i print a certficate in administrator account the print out is good but when i use the guest account or the other account the print out becomes smudge. please help!

I installed some new fonts that came with my new printer (postscript). The install included a number of fonts that end in SWA, SWC and SWM. I cannot select these fonts using the formatting toolbar fonts selector. They can be selected if I choose from the menu

I have a file and I used different styles to for my data. To make it better presentable I have used about 15-20 different styles. But, when I print this file some styles are not printing. Is it because of the styles. I have checked it's not hidden font or anything like that.

I recently installed a font into the "Fonts" folder in the Control Panel. When I open Microsoft Word, it shows but it doesn't have a name. so it will show "Tt (Blank)" on the menu, and it is the font. It types fine, it prints fine, it just doesn't show its name on the font menu. ...

Word 2003 DOC files don't print the footer on an HP DeskJet 612c. It works fine on a LaserJet 4 Plus. I know what you're thinking (it's the printer, stoopit), but is this a previously reported problem? Help?

In word when you type text in the middle of an existing paragraph it uses the font the original text is in. We have a set of custom fonts from one of our suppliers we use in several word docs. In Word 2000 it behaves as expected but in Word 2003 instead of typing in our custom ...

I am using WinXP Pro with Offfice XP Pro Hebrew Enabled. I added the Italian language in the regional settings and in the Office XP language settings. The spell checkers work in English and Hebrew but not in Italian. What should I do in order to get this to work properly?
