Overlapping characters22 Nov 2005 17:35 GMT1
A user has a template that looks fine, but when she prints, it overlaps the
charactors on one line and does so to all of the lines.
EX.  ABCDEFG   wouldn't be readable as it would look like a black smudge.
She said it only seems to happen with Time New Roman.  It not only overlaps
Installed font not useable20 Nov 2005 19:35 GMT4
My principal word processing software is WordPerfect (different
versions). WPTypographic is a TTF font, duly installed and shown in the
fonts in my XP Home.  It can be selected as a font in WP programs.
However, I just downloaded a PDF file, which looked for it, and said
Can I change the font in several Styles in one go?20 Nov 2005 17:31 GMT2
We have about 100 documents created a while ago that all use 10 or so custom
styles.
Since then the corporate font has changed to arial (from a custom font).
All the documents have been updated to aerial - but they are all merge docs,
Problems with font size with POD19 Nov 2005 23:30 GMT1
I recently got a copy of a book I wrote from a POD that had my Word doc
using Times New Roman 12.  The printed book is 9" by 6"  I didn't

Word 2000 to 2003 Conversion16 Nov 2005 02:38 GMT6
I created some restaurant menus in Word 2000 and the fonts changed when I
upgraded to 2003.  Can't remember the font name, but there seems to be
nothing similar in 2003.  Any way I can access or download the old fonts?
Why no Tahoma italic?06 Nov 2005 23:51 GMT6
Does anyone know why Microsoft's Tahoma has no italic face?
I have a vague recollection of an MS spokesperson, a few years ago, stating that
sans serif fonts had no need of italics. Although Verdana and Arial are provided
with italic faces, they are more "oblique" than italic.

Using Office 2002 SP3, Windows 2000 V5.0 SP-4.
One of my users is having a problem printing text with a grey font colour

out with a heavy blue tinge.  The problem varies from printer to printer,
