In MS Word when I type fff in {Times New Roman Bold Italic 24 Point} the first
two letters are closer together than the last two letters. Why is this? This
does not happen when I do the same thing in MS NotePad. Is this a ligature
issue?

Similar to Wingdings 2 (True Type) where one can print
numbers within circles, is there a font that has numbers
printed within rectangular boxes?

Greetings.  I hope this is the right place to ask for advice about this
problem, which is a little hard to explain.  I am currently using WORD 2003.  
Years ago, with a different (earlier) version of WORD, I had a file with
thousands of lines that looked something like this:
ITC Zaph chancery02 Dec 2005 22:23 GMT1
This font looks ok on the screen but does not print properly.
Please help
