What is the best way to find a style in use within all footers of a document, AND TO BE NOTIFIED? In other words, cycle through all pages of a document and look in the footer to see if a particular style exists. If

Is there a way that code can detect when a word document has been edited/saved? Can that document execute an sql statement to update an access table, for instance an SOP revision table?

I have a Word doc with a custom macro button on a toolbar that queries a user through a series of input boxes to caption some photos. After the photos are captioned, I go back to the captions, via VBA, copy the captions and insert a field code to build a TOC.
