I have two PCs at home, and purchased two retail copies of Works Suite 2003 which includes Word. Word needed to be "activated" to continue use, however I have partitioned one PC to enable a dual boot WinME and WinXP.

I have installed Word 97 using the local admin account on a Windows 2000 Pro computer. Everything works fine for admin, and for those users designated as belonging to the Power Users group. For all others, there is no Spelling

I emptied my computer reinstalled. When i wanted to use word I needed the key code. I can't find mine only the cert of authanticity. Gateway can't help me they suggested I ask Micosoft.

I would like to know whether we can use our Word 97 normal.dot in Word 2002. We use a lot of autocorrects and, as I understand, these reside in the normal.dot and don't want to lose the autocorrects when we upgrade.
