Does anyone know how to the the Menu Bar to show up in
Word 2000. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, with
reboots in between. Everytime I start Word, it comes up
with no Menu Bar or Toolbars. Other Office programs are

Wordpad.  I want Word 2003 to be the default.  How can I

word starts very slowly & opens files slowly, word is
loaded on workstations, not the network. problem started
after connecting new domain controller (server 2003) for
separate domain.

For the past week, every time I open up Word 2000 (on
Windows 98) I lock up at the header screen (the one that
says Word 2000).  When I Ctrl, Alt, Delete, I get a
message that says "A fatal exception OE has occurred at

I just got a call from one of my users and when they start
Word 2003 it starts in Reading layout.  I have check their
Normal.dot and it is in Print Layout and I can't locate
any Option to turn that view off as a default.  Any

Somehow I have lost the file command on the toolbar for
xp word.  I have tried 'detect/repair' without luck.  Any

We have an Office 97 installation which works except that when anyone tries
to open any file on the machine using one of the office products XCELL or
WORD.
The user is asked if s/he wants to make a copy and it is wrongly reported

Just got a new PC, p4, windows XP and installed Office
97.  Now when I go to open docs that I transferred from my
old PC and on our server, I get a message saying they are
already opened.

properly and she has to view them through their
