I purchased Microsoft Office Bookshelf for Windows 95 and
I need to upgrade to work on Windows XP all I need is
windows Word for Xp can you tell me how to upgrade to

I am having slow browsing from word.  hen I browse in
explorer is takes 2 seconds but in office when I go to
open a document and browse for it it takes 30 seconds. It
does this with office sp3 or no sp. it does not do this on

Every time we start MS Word 2003 the option under
the 'View - Markup' menu is active and the page headers
are not displayed (in print-preview). We tried changing
the startup template (Normal.dot) and the problem persists.

We have Word 2002. I cannot get the line spacing to type
in single spacing. Even in the paragraph line spacing it
says single spacing.

Is there a way of setting up a word template that when used, does not put an
entry in the 'document template' path?  The reason being is that we have
over 150 templates that when used, put an entry in to here?
When the document is then sent out it takes the end user ages to open as ...

We have a Win98 computer running Office 97, which was
infected and subsequently cleaned of the Netsky virus.  
Now Word hangs when we try and open it.  We have
completely uninstalled and reinstalled Office 97, but Word

I reinstalled windows recently and reinstalled the setup,
works 6.0, Word 2000 SR1.
My problem is when I try on open word, a box pops up
saying "preinstalling word" this message comes up

Does anyone know how to back up all the custom settings
and info created in auto correct, dictionaries, templates
and the like?  i would like to be able to transfer this
info to a new computer; and create backups?

My WORD 2000 CD-ROM is damaged and therefore the
application cannot be installed.  I have the C of A and CD
key.  How do I go about replacing the CD?  Is there a
charge?  What is the typical lead time?

  Howdy, had to reinstall Xp on a machine due to a
trojan infection, in doing so, lost Word 2000. (yes I
know thats old) I don't have the key to reinstall it, (4
years old ok? Its MIA)but I do have the CD's that have
