Word is extremely slow like 2-3mins to open or save a document on the
network. This is only with a 1 page or more document. The user has like a
900Gig network drive, and there seems to be no problem with saveing and
opening documents on the local drives. So I don't think there is ...

I have seen a number of issues related to the problem I put before you,
however, noone seems to have mentioned that if you open Winword.exe
(Office 2003) then attempt to open the file on a network drive...it
opens instantaniously...leaving me to think, what is word up to?
